A Spiritual Path, is not dictated by Human Logic; but led by Divine Logic.

Anguish in Life Serves Not Only to Refine Faith; But Also to Cleanse Ourselves (if We Choose it to)

“Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God’s Throne. Think of what he went through; how he put up with so much hatred from sinners! So do not let yourselves become discouraged and give up. For in your struggle against sin you have not yet had to resist to the point of being killed.”

-Hebrews 12: 2-4

“But these people attack with insults anything they do not understand; and those things that they know by instinct, like wild animals, are the very things that destroy them.”

-Jude 1:10

“Don’t be afraid of anything you are about to suffer. Listen! The Devil will put you to the test by having some of you thrown into prison, and your troubles will last 10 days. Be faithful to me, even if it means death, and I will give you life as your prize of victory. If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches! Those who win the victory will not be hurt by the 2nd death.”

-Revelations 2:10-11

When someone decides to  dedicated their life in seeking Eternal Life, in the Kingdom of the Eternal Father, they realize that the path is travelled by very few. Why? Well, it is a road that is full of trials and suffering (in the earthly sense). However in the spiritual sense, it is a life that is full of refining and cleansing of the soul, from the ways of this world, to which the Eternal Father says He is not a part of. Sure we are to live in it, but in accordance to the Divine Laws of Love, that God had established, and showed us through the many enlightened ones, that roamed this earth, and of course through the Life and Death, of His Son, Jesus Christ.

“It was to this that God called you, for Christ himself suffered for you and left you an example, so that you would follow in his steps. He committed no sin, and no one ever heard a lie come from his lips. When he was insulted, he did not answer back with an insult; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but placed his hopes in God, the Righteous Judge. Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by his wounds that you have been healed.”

-1 Peter 2:21-24

As human beings, Jehovah knows that we as Man, are weak to sin. But that does not mean He loves us any less. He loved us so much as to send Jesus Christ, to absorb all the sins of Mankind, though committing no sin, Himself. When we decide to seek the Eternal Kingdom, we will begin to see the flaws in ourselves, to which God points out, are in violation to His Divine Laws of Love. The more we get familiar with the Holy Scriptures of God, the more aware we become in knowing how God values the things in this world. In fact, whatever may seem beautiful in the earthly sense, may not be in the Eyes of God. Only He can help us to discern His Truth, from Evil’s Deception in this. The more we realize the ways of this world, are not in accordance to God’s Ways, we will face a lot of trials which can result in a lot of anguish, in the earthly sense. It is in these moments, we have to CHOOSE with our FREEWILL, whether we get lost in the anguish caused by that trial; or to ask for God’s Guidance for the meaning of the anguish, and await for His Solution.

What we have to realize with the trials and anguish we face on this earth, as people who chose to seek the Eternal Kingdom, is that through this anguish, we begin to become the “broken vessels”; and break ourselves away from the earth’s ways, that God says He is not a part of. It is through this anguish that we begin to reexamine our ways, and see if it is in accordance to God’s Divine Laws of Love. And this will be a lifelong journey. God knows, us, as His Children, that we may not get it right the first time, or the second time, or sometimes, even the third time. But we have to get it, sometime. So this is how we not only refine our faith, one step closer to the purity that God had originally created for us to have, as seen in the initial days of Adam and Eve; but also cleanse ourselves of the sinful ways of human nature, so that we will purify our souls, to become worthy enough to enter the Kingdom of God. A mind, heart, and soul, dedicated to Jehovah…Yahweh….Devum….will always seek this…and will never be satisfied, until they hear it from Jesus, Himself, on that Final Day.

Anguish in one’s life, is seen by all those who observe the life of God’s Children. Though God’s Children, themselves, do not see it as anguish, most of the time; but as a joy to endure. Why? They know that it is a test that they need to go through to get one step closer to the Father of Creation…and the trials they face are evil’s ways of trying to throw us off the path. And the more closer we get in our journeys, the frequency of the trials will increase; and the intensity of the anguish will also. But it will never be seen on the face of a Child of God, why? Because they have decided to endure those trials, by leaning on not their own human strength, which is restricted by the boundaries of this earth; but by God’s Strength, who says….HIS WAYS ARE NOT OF THE WORLD’S WAYS, BUT BEYOND THEM. If Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, had to endure all that He did, what makes us any better than Him, to be exempt from them? As you see in the Revelations quote above, God asks us, how are are we willing to go to uphold His Ways? Would we do it to the point of death of the earthly body? Because He says, that He guarantees, by doing so, we will gain eternity by surviving the second death.

The anguish we face, allows for us to kill the parts of ourselves that shackle us to the world’s ways, that do not belong to the Father of Creation. It does not mean that those who decide to walk the path are perfect human beings. Despite what many would like to believe. By deciding to choose to follow the Path to the Kingdom of God, it will make us more vulnerable to the ridicule and persecution of those who are shackled to the world’s ways; as St. Jude says above, people often mock what they do not understand. Therefore those who have truly become enlightened by the Father of Creation, are fully aware of their own flaws, and as a result do not pass judgment on others; as Jesus Christ instructed us to do. For there is only one that was so perfect enough to have the position to do so, that is Jesus Christ alone.

We must endure the trials, and the anguish, if we chose the follow the Path to the Eternal Kingdom. Because this is what is required of God’s Children. I always thought that if things are going too smoothly in one’s life, that means that evil is quite content with the way that person leads their life. It is not threatened by such a life. But for a person who decides to seek the Father of Creation, has an earthly life that is full of trials and anguish, and even that does not automatically give such a person, a ticket to the Eternal Kingdom. At this point, such a person is given the choice to open their eyes to the message God is trying to reveal to them through that anguish; or to close their eyes to it, and reshackle themselves to the earth through this anguish. If we choose wisely, we get one step closer to the Eternal Kingdom of God.

If we look at the many examples of the those who dedicated their lives to serving for the Kingdom of God, their lives were FULL of earthly trials and anguish. Many would like to dismiss such people who led lives like this, by such a lifestyle being meant for a chosen few. But you have to remember that Jesus Christ did not come here to establish a RELIGION.  He, as the Son of God, came here to establish a way of life, that conforms to the ways of God’s Divine Laws of Love, and to save Mankind from the Wrath of God, the price of conforming to the world’s ways.  And His Ministry was not restricted to His Disciples. He preached it, and demonstrated it to the young and old; to the rich and poor; to the sinner and the faithful. This means this way of life, was meant for ALL OF MANKIND, not just for the select few. Our flawed human logic had reasoned it out, that such a life was meant for a small minority…not true though.

“Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings. But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who call you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself perfect you  and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation. To him be the power forever! Amen.”

– 1 Peter 5: 8-11

So endure the trials….and ask for God’s Strength to get through the anguish. Because God says death of the earthly body, is nothing in comparison as the death of the spirit. When He says our bodies are temples…it is not the physical body per se. It is what we invest in, as to what goes SPIRITUALLY INTO OUR BODIES, that makes it fertile ground for the Holy Spirit to take root. The HOLY spirit…leading to God’s Eternal Enlightenment…can only occur, when we study and learn His Divine Laws of Love, in a steadfast way, with zeal, and enthusiasm. This leads to a HOLY place for it to make its home. Is not a TEMPLE….a HOLY place or ground? And God says the only way to know of His Ways, is to unshackle yourself from the world’s ways, as seen, will involve a lot of trials and anguish in the earthly sense.
