A Spiritual Path, is not dictated by Human Logic; but led by Divine Logic.

Before We Point Out the Flaw in Our Fellow Brothers & Sisters, We Must Recognize Our Own Flaws: PRIDE vs. SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT (Part 1)

Pride and discernment

It is important to recognize the difference between PRIDE & SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT . Where do we begin with this? This is something that I have often struggled with, and I am sure that I am not the only one. But as we grow stronger in our faith in the Father of Creation, He will help us to know the difference, more and more, with each step we get closer to knowing Him.

We must be mindful that PRIDE is from evil. And evil can use this is several ways. We have to be aware of this. REMEMBER PRIDE IS ONE OF THE 7 MORTAL SINS. It can manifest several ways within a person. It stems from insecurity and denial of knowing oneself in the Father of Creation. We have to think back and remember, that we are all born in a sinful human nature; and we can not afford to give in to it. In fact the world today, is the result of such an act. Pride is what makes one to think that one is more superior over another, when God says, that “He has allowed the weeds to live alongside the good crops…”; to show us that He holds all of His Children equal in His Eyes, as to having the chance to come to Him, until the last breath in their earthly bodies. The weeds will be weeded out on the Final Day, when we are ALL held accountable, and determined if we are harvested for the Eternal Kingdom or to be weeded out. But that judgement is only left to the Perfect One….not to us, as the imperfect, sinful natured creations. It is such a philosophy of thinking one is more superior to another that resulted in the world’s poverty, bigotry, and violence. When Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Instead of Eye for an Eye; we must TURN THE OTHER CHEEK.”

Pride gets in the way of Divine Correction of ourselves. You see, we were not created to be born as sinners. But upon Adam and Eve fell to Satan’s Temptation in the Garden of Eden, that began the birth of our sinful human nature. And the first evidence of the consequence of this was seen in their own children, of Cain and Abel. God did give us the freewill to choose; but as history has shown us, and with the current conditions of the world today, Mankind has shown that we have given in to this PRIDE. We have used the very knowledge that Satan tempted us with, to reason out so many atrocities that have occurred in the history of Mankind. And we have fallen further and further from the Greatness and full of Grace that God had originally created for us to be. But with Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross, God so loved us as to give us one final chance. As the Son of God, He walked amongst us, taught us, showed us, what God expected of us. He warned us, what was to come, if we didn’t listen to Him. In fact Satan was so jealous of God’s love for us, that this is what made him fall from grace. The pride of being one of God’s most highest ranked Arch Angels, when he was Lucifer; he could not comprehend how we, as His Creations, outranked him. And when he fell from grace, and allowed for pride and envy to consume him, he allowed for wrath to be his mission. In taking as many of us away, alongside him.

We can not afford to allow PRIDE to take root within us. God’s knowledge is something our human minds can not comprehend. We are the CREATION. We could never be equivalent to the CREATOR. We could never know the direction of our spiritual health…we can only take it day by day. Because we are all born as sinners, even those who may be known as the “elect” will have human flaws. When we realize God’s Awesomeness, we will realize how flawed we are. No matter what we have achieved in this earthly realm. Evil will mislead many to believe that “You have to love me for me….” No. We were born as sinners. Evil will try to convince you, “To only love those that love you back….” It’s wrong. Because that makes room for doubt in the power of love. Evil will twist the word of God and say, ” Since we are all from God, we can be gods ourselves.” No. Since we are born with a sinful human nature, we could never consider ourselves to the perfection that God is.

SO HOW TO WE COMBAT THIS??????? BY GROWING STRONGER IN FAITH.  HOW DO WE DO THIS? TAKING FULL ADVANTAGE OF OUR DIRECT LINE OF COMMUNICATION WITH THE FATHER OF CREATION, TO WHICH JESUS CHRIST, THROUGH HIS DEATH, REESTABLISHED. SATAN HAD DESTROYED THIS UPON INTRODUCING SIN INTO THE GARDEN OF EDEN. BUT JESUS CHRIST CONQUERED HIM, IN HIS DEATH. Take time out of your daily schedule to talk to Him.
