A Spiritual Path, is not dictated by Human Logic; but led by Divine Logic.

Those Who Are Heaven Bound, Are Sure To Endure Earthly Challenges, Just As Jesus Christ Did

“And now He can help those who are tempted, because He Himself was tempted and suffered.” -Hebrews 2:18

“You servants must submit yourselves to your masters and show them complete respect, not only to those who are kind and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. God will bless you for this, if you endure the pain of undeserved suffering because you are conscious of His Will. For what credit is there if you endure the beatings you deserve for having done wrong? But if you endure suffering even when you have done right, God will bless you for it. It was to this that God called you , for Christ Himself suffered for you and left you an example, so that you would follow in His Steps.” -1 Peter 2:18-21

Though no one wants to hear this, there are many Scriptures that support what I am about to say (outside of the 2 that I had mentioned above). When you are on a spiritual journey, in seeking God’s Divine Path to the Eternal Kingdom, you are going to begin to see the things of this world, the way God views them. You might be surprised that whatever may seem to be viewed as beautiful on this earth, may not be so beautiful and wondrous in the Eyes of God. The nearer you come to God, the more you are exposed to you evil’s temptations; to spiritual attacks, and even trials of this earth. God says He is not of the world’s ways, but beyond them. And for those who pursue a path in seeking His Kingdom, will endure many things to throw them off of their pursuit to God’s Eternal Paradise. Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, showed us this very example, through His Own Life, and Death.  He went to every extent to uphold God’s Laws of Divine Love, even to the point of death. In the Book of Revelations, God tells us that our test will be tested, even to the point of death, in Chapter 2. If we look at how each of the Prophets in the Old and New Testament, as well as the Disciples of Jesus Christ lived their lives, they were persecuted, ridiculed, and some even killed for what they believed. So the question is, where are you in your faith these days? Do you think that you are exempt from earthly trials and temptations? If these men and women, including the Son of God, were not exempt from them…what makes you think that you are any better than them, to be free of them, if you claim to be a Child of God? In fact, it seems the closer we get in our paths in seeking God’s Eternal Kingdom, the more harsh our trials will be. God wants true believers in His Kingdom; not those that will blow whichever way the wind will blow them.

We must understand that if our lives are free from trials, we must not be threatening the evil. We are conforming to the ways of this world, to which God clearly says He is not a part of. And with the many examples before us, we see that earthly trials and sufferings are a part of the spiritual journey in seeking Eternal Life. When we die a little each day, to the ways of this world, God’s Ways will become more clear, and revealed to such souls. Jesus Christ died to unshackle us to the ways of this world, and to give us one final chance to make the choices to choose God’s Ways or not, until He returns to reestablish the Kingdom. For those who faithfully seek God and His Ways of Love, and the path to Eternal Paradise, know truth is not solely determined by what we sense with our human 5 senses, but also by what feel within the inner depths of our souls, which are rooted in the Words of God. There is only faith in such souls; all fear and doubt is driven away by the Truth of God’s Ways within such a soul.

We must remain steadfast, even in our trials. Like many of those before us, it is through these trials that God purges us further of the impurities of our human nature, and advancing us one step closer in our paths to the Eternal Kingdom of God. We are called to endure them, so that we unshackle ourselves further, from the ways of this world, and obtain one step closer to God’s Ways. It is the surrendering of such a soul to God’s Will, that occurs in such a circumstance. The closer we are in our paths, the more harsher the trials will be. So you have to ask yourself today, how is your faith these days? Are you comfortable…or are you advancing to the point of shaking up the environment around you?

May we all continue to endure for the sake of upholding God’s Unconditional Love, to which He showed us in the Example of His Son, Jesus Christ, who came to die for the sake of saving all of Mankind from Eternal Wrath. And may God find us all worthy of entering His Kingdom.
