Through the example of His Son, Jesus Christ, God has given to us the spiritual tools that are needed to resist Satan and his demons, and to discern the deception of evil. What are these?
Take a look:
The Armor of God
A true understanding of these spiritual tools comes from a life full of earthly anguish and battles of the human heart and mind, and a soul that has had the Holy Spirit planted within it. This is so important to understand because God says His Ways are not of the world’s ways, but are beyond them. Jesus Christ showed us this through His Earthly Life and Death on the Cross, as the the Son of God. As a result, the Holy Bible has told us through many Scriptures, that God’s Faithful will suffer in the earthly sense, so that we die of the ways of this world, and detach ourselves from valuing them, and finding God’s Divine Laws of Love (ways of Unconditional Love, Mercy and Nonviolence) in the process of this earthly suffering, where such ways are unknown to the world. These tools are what Jesus Christ showed us, personally, while He roamed this earth, in how they can combat evil and its ways of deception from God’s Divine Love, a love that we were meant and created to inherit.
We are to become broken vessels, in order to refine the souls within, to detach ourselves from the world and its ways. Can a soul take within it a home, care, money, clothes, toys, technology, accomplishments, reputations? NO. It is the flesh that made mankind to sin, on that day in the Garden of Eden, when the Satan as the serpant tempted Adam and Eve. God, the Father of Creation, gave us a soul and a mind to overthink and overfeel the demands of the human body. Satan and his demons can only control what it can manipulate with the human body, in order to mislead the soul that God, the Father of Creation, gave us to guard, that is within. It is these spiritual tools that Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, that keep us in tune with what God, the Father dictates through His Divine Laws of Love, which are the ways to His Eternal Kingdom. It is what keeps such a soul that is bound towards His Eternal Kingdom, inline with God and His Ways. Satan and his demons will try to make you feel like an outcast you, and make you feel all alone for not following the world and its way, because you are leaving their jurisdiction in being able to control you off of the path towards the Eternal Kingdom.
Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, suffered in His Earthly Life and Death on the Cross, for the sake of God’s Love for Humanity. He did it to show us that He understands what we go through, while we roam this earth. He did it so that He can show us how to deal with the arrows of the evil one and his helpers, and to reconnect humanity to their direct link to God, the Father of Creation, which was once there, in the initial days of Adam and Eve. God never leaves His People clueless, or in the dark of His Ways. It is through the use of these spiritual tools that Jesus Christ, His Son, left humanity, that we are able to see them. It is through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, that they will know of them, and will have a window to God’s Eternal Wisdom. It is not a physical war that we, as humanity are in, it is a spiritual one. That is what controls the physical. If humanity values and is bound to the ways of this world, a world that God, the Father of Creation says His Ways are not a part of….a world to which His Son, Jesus Christ has shown a way of life that He, Himself did not conform to….this is what results in crimes against humanity that we see today…..world hunger, war, genocide, racial bias, etc. It is only through spiritual strength…not human strength, that we can achieve this….and we need to tap into the spiritual tools that Jesus Christ (Yeshuay, Yeshu Christu, Devum) left us, in His Life Example, and Death on the Cross, at Calvary.
Those of us who have decided to walk the path towards the Eternal Kingdom, will know what I mean by the title of this entry. When God, the Father of Creation (Jehovah, Devum, Yahweh) has stated that His Ways are not of the world’s way but are beyond them, He truly meant that. This is what He showed us through the Life Example and Death of His Son, Jesus Christ (Yeshuay, Yeshu Christu, Yeshua). God, the Father of Creation, has called all of His Chosen Children, that are bound toward the path toward the Eternal Kingdom, to follow His Divine Laws of Love, ways of Nonviolence, Unconditional Love, and Mercy, at all costs, even to the point of an earthly death. Those that are bound to this path, know that our time on this earth is limited, in comparison to the eternity given to the souls that are deep within us, as humanity. That is what sets us apart from any of God, the Father’s creations….it is the soul that He has given us, to keep guard over. We know that there is more to life, than what we can see with our human eyes, hear with our human ears, smelling, tasting, and touching with our human nose, tongue, and our skin.
A heart that has been given the spark by God, and have truly seen and understood what Jesus Christ did on the Cross, on that day on Calvary, that spark will never die. That spark was put within such a heart because God, the Father, has seen fertile ground and a pure heart that He found worthy for the Holy Spirit to dwell within its soul. No matter how far Satan and his demons will try to throw such a heart and soul off the path towards the Eternal Kingdom, that spark will never die. Satan and his demons hate a heart and soul that hungers for God and His Divine Laws of Love. If you look at any saint, they all have had a life that was in the earthly sense considered that full of trial, devoid of earthly riches, and a soul that sticks out in the crowd. Such souls that are seek the Kingdom of God, the Father of Creation, will see that the ways of Jesus Christ, His Son, are ways that are not of this world, but are in accordance to the Divine Laws of Love, ways of the Eternal Kingdom. A Kingdom to which God has banned Satan and his demons, which is what makes such souls a target of his envy, for what he can never have again…..God’s Unconditional Love, Peace, and Joy, and to sit in the very throne room of the Most High. So if he can never have it again, none of humanity (God’s most prized creations) will ever see it or know of it.
However, that is the difference between those that are given the testimony within their hearts and souls. This testimony is what gives the human side of the heart and soul, the conviction to continue on with the supernatural path of the Eternal Kingdom of God, the Father of Creation. Despite the earthly circumstances that may surround such souls, God, continues to lead such souls that He set on Fire with the testimony that He had custom made for them, towards the Eternal Kingdom. However, just as He did for Job, and all of His Previous Saints that walked before us, God, never allows for evil to give us more than what we can handle. God, knows and trusts His Children such trials in order to refine their souls in the fires of the furnace, to the perfect diamonds that He created for them to be; to cut them off from the ways of this world, a world to which He states that His Ways are not a part of.
So through the trials, keep up the good fight. God sees it all, and will count every tear that is shed. He will count every drop of blood of His Innocent. He will count every sorrow, and see who caused them to you, on behalf of Satan and his demons, and will account for them on your behalf one day. Have faith that God, the Father loves you, just as Jesus Christ, His Son, showed us on that day on Calvary, on the Cross.
I found this entry on the Christian Gazette. Absolutely wonderful piece. A MUST READ!
Once we have chosen to walk the path towards the Eternal Kingdom, we are required to constantly refine ourselves, and unshackle ourselves in ways that violate the Divine Laws of Love (which consist of ways of Nonviolence, Unconditional Love, and Mercy). This requires a constant, regular fellowship with God, the Father of Creation; who will allow for the Holy Spirit to guide us to the ways of the Eternal Kingdom, which follow the Divine Laws of Love.
This refinement process is what Jesus Christ has referred to in His Parables as the “Refiner’s Fire”. And one prime example of this is that of a Diamond. While diamonds are one of the most treasured gems that we desire on this earth, we often forget the rough appearance it has in nature, and the refining process it has to go through in order to become that gem, that is so desired. Because God, the Father of Creation, has stated that the ways to His Eternal Kingdom do not conform to the ways of this world, but are beyond them, in order for us to advance one step closer in our paths towards to the Eternal Kingdom, we must unshackle ourselves from the definitions of what the world values and desires, which are earthly in origin, and not Divine in origin (things that conform to the Divine Laws of Love).Since we are born into this world, and with the sinful human nature that was created by Satan introducing sin and rebellion against God, in the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve, we see that our natural tendency is to sin and rebel against God. We are born that way. So within our paths, that is what we are refining, to use God’s Strength, to unshackle ourselves from this sinful human nature, that has no room in God’s Eternal Kingdom, because such a nature constantly violates the Divine Laws of Love, that rule the Eternal Kingdom.
We must understand that in a world that is ruled by a being that wants to keep us out of the Eternal Kingdom, which was not our original final destination, it will try to do everything and anything to achieve this. There is one simple reason for this, because this being could never have that same opportunity to dwell in the Presence of God, and His Eternal Kingdom, ever again. Therefore, to break away from the ways of this world, that does not value the Divine Laws of Love, we will have to go against the grain of world, just as Jesus Christ, and many that took His Life as their example as to how to lead a life that is bound towards the Eternal Kingdom, showed us. We will encounter trials and hardships. Earthly success is not equivalent to Eternity’s success. It is through these trials and struggles that we do not get comfortable in our paths, and break away from the ways of this world…physically….to rejoin and reevaluate our place in our paths towards the Eternal Kingdom. The toughest of trials are given to those that are closer on their paths towards the Eternal Kingdom…because Satan and his demons see the advancement within the paths of such people towards the Eternal Kingdom…which only angers him. However, God has the confidence in such people that they will uphold His Divine Laws of Love, at all costs, and will not let Him down. If Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, was not exempt from earthly trials and hardships, what makes us think that we will be? If Jesus Christ led a life of simplicity and not valuing the things of this world, or making them define Him and His Success in His Earthly Life…then what makes us think that our earthly prosperity is what defines our success in God? We must remember that earthly success does not equate to Divine success.
We are to realize that once we chose to follow the path to the Eternal Kingdom, we are required to constantly reevaluate our lives, and spiritual journeys. We are to question when we get too comfortable in our lives, where we forget the origins of our comfort…the Almighty God. What evil wants is for humanity to forget he Existence of God, the Father of Creation. So the minute we get too comfortable, and forget that it is only because of God, the Father of Creation that we are able to breathe, eat, and even live from day to day….and we want credit for the successes in our lives for ourselves, then evil has won. Because the Divine Laws of Love are not about the SELF….but are about putting others before yourself…being SELFLESS. It is not about what you can gain….it is about what can others gain from you, with what God has given you. It is about giving…to the point it hurts.
With one’s loyalty to the Path to the Eternal Kingdom, by abiding in the Divine Laws of Love, God will allow for entrance into it. He will also allow for the Holy Spirit to dwell in such souls anchored in His Divine Laws of Love, which is what He showed Humanity through the Life and Death of Jesus Christ, as He roamed this Earth. And the Holy Spirit presence is only given to those that have seen and touched the face of God, through the testimony of such trials and hardships, to which they sought out God’s Wisdom, to deal with them, in the earthly sense….and with this presence of the Holy Spirit, within such a soul….God will help to discern the deception of evil.
So it is important to evaluate, and see if you are getting too comfortable in your spiritual paths…if you are…that means you are not progressing in your path towards the Eternal Kingdom…you are not threatening Satan and his demons…in fact they are getting quite comfortable with how comfortable that you are with your life on the earth, as well. BEWARE!
What I have learned from the life and story of Jesus Christ is that evil will always make good appear as if it is evil….why you may ask? Well, for one simple reason…the moment that humanity knows and understands that there is a Higher Being, and that there is more to life than what we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch with the human senses (which is what evil can control to manipulate our perception), then it has lost its battle with Divinity. Once a person is truly awakened and enlightened, and recognizes that there is a soul that is being fought over…then there is no manipulation possible.
In every holy scripture written, we see that God says His Ways are beyond the world’s ways. However, a way of life that follows the Divine Laws of Love (which consist of ways of Nonviolence, Unconditional Love, and Mercy) is what goes against the sinful nature of humanity, which was introduced by Satan in the Garden of Eden, to its first members of humanity (Adam & Eve). Humanity was not originally created to be violent, selfish, harmful, advantageous…etc. but to live in harmony with all of His Creations. Just as God knows the weaknesses and strengths of each person, so does Satan. The only difference is that God enhances the strengths of a person, while Satan enhances the weaknesses of a person. It is because humanity decided with their own freewill to give into their weaknesses, that we see the crimes against humanity and all of God’s Creations, today. Satan is only being given the opportunity to enhance such weaknesses. We allowed for evil to enter into our lives. Unlike Satan who forces his ways upon our weaknesses, God gives us the choice to choose His Ways of His Divine Laws of Love, or to fall prey to our weaknesses. God’s Unconditional Love for Humanity extends to the point that He gives us a new slate each day we wake up, to use our freewill again to again have the opportunity to make the choice is following His Divine Laws of Love or not. However, He makes it clear that His Divine Laws of Love do not conform to the ways of this world, but are beyond them. Just as He showed us through Jesus Christ, His Son, as He roamed this earth, and many of those that took Him as His Life Example, is that whatever is considered poor, meek, mild, childlike, innocent, and against the grain is considered to be what is favorable in the Eyes of the Almighty God, and entrance into His Eternal Kingdom.
Evil will try to convince those that are conformed to the ways of this world that such ways are weak, undesireable, low of standards, stupid, and even unbelieveable. Those who have allowed for evil to take foothold into their lives will hate such things because it goes against what an earthly shackled mind can comprehend and understand…it goes beyond what evil can understand. This is what Jesus Christ and His Followers provided to the world. Such an Eternal Kingdom does not define its richness in gold, silver, cars, homes, money or earthly possessions, but by the riches of the heart, mind, and soul.
It’s worth is seen in whomever is seen as the lowest of society, that are often forgotten, and overlooked. They become the “cornerstone” of God’s Eternal Kingdom……
God gave us Jesus Christ as the Life Example for many reasons. He understands that humanity needs to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch things to be convicted of a way of life, to see and perceives things. Jesus Christ was that example that God, the Father of Creation, provided for Humanity, so that they can see His Unconditional Love for it. That despite what evil may throw in a life bound to the Eternal Kingdom, it will only follow the Divine Laws of Love, at all costs, even to the point of death to the earthly body. Because it is not bound by the earthly things…but bound by the eternal….therefore the earthly body…though beaten bruised and broken…the soul lives on…free…for eternity.
It does not cause harm, even to those that cause harm to it. It choses to love, rather than hate; and whatever it can not do, puts it into the Hand of God, the Father of Creation, to provide the strength it needs to follow His Divine Laws of Love. Such a soul does not act out of the human will that has been tainted by satan and his demons; for it will be pricked and even tortured for going against its true calling towards the Eternal Kingdom. God makes those connections forever, once a soul seeks Him and His Divine Laws of Love, and are forever bound to them, in ways of Nonviolence, Unconditional Love, and Mercy. Evil does not know how to control such a soul. Such a soul has used its freewill to seek the Divine Laws of Love and the ways of the Eternal Kingdom, and unshackled its sins by abiding by the Divine Laws of Love. It knows no other way to live.
Evil will try to discredit such a soul, in order to prevent such enlightenment to spread, and therefore makes its efforts less influential on the majority. It needs to make them look evil, because there is a natural tendency for humanity to be deterred by evil. Do you think if evil showed its true face and intentions that humanity would have come as far as it did with all the crimes against creation and humanity that has occurred? No. Absolutely not. Evil has to make itself appealing and convincing that its ways are not harmful; and make the Divine Laws of Love, unnatural….evil…and even wrong. God knows He will win in this battle…however at the same time, He wants true believers in the Eternal Kingdom…so He wants us to be just as sure as He is in His Divine Laws of Love. This certainty will come with pain, sacrifice, and persecution because of the discrediting of evil….but in the end…eternity is promised to those that are loyal to the Divine Laws of Love…so how strong is your faith these days?
When do you come to God? Is it only when you are in trouble? Or is it when you want something earthly? Is it when you feel sad, and you want it to be taken away? Or only when someone has caused a great injustice to you? Though these are valid times to come to Him, how many times do we go to Him, when there are good times? Or how about when we were able to overcome a trying time? How about even when we wake up to another day to live? Or having a bed to sleep in, food on our tables, and a roof over our heads?
We must remember that God asks us to seek Him, with all of our hearts and minds…our very being. We are to acknowledge Him in our good times and our bad. We are to seek His Forgiveness in our flaws and our wrongdoings. While we roam this earth, in order to remain on the path to the Eternal Kingdom, we must remember that God is the Constant Force that helps us to keep our walks straight to His Eternal Kingdom. We must remember that the end does not justify the means, through His Son, Jesus Christ, He showed us that the path that we take also counts. It does not mean that He does not expect us to commit mistakes or to have flaws, that is why He had to sent Jesus Christ, His Son, to reestablish that pathway back to Him. However, He expects us to admit to them, and to repent for them, so that we can unshackle that ways of Satan and his demons, from us, so that we can travel back on that path to His Eternal Kingdom.
We must remember that God says His Ways are not of the world/earth’s ways, but are beyond them. He does not confine Himself, to the definitions of His Creation of Him. His Ways are Eternal. We are to seek them. His Divine Laws of Love consist of ways that are Nonviolence, Mercy, and Unconditional Love. Through the Guidance of the Holy Spirit, we guides those that seek Him and His Kingdom’s Ways, in a uniform manner that conforms to His Divine Laws of Love.
The human heart can be utterly deceptive, because it can be manipulated by the ways of the human condition, the sinful nature of human nature, that was created by Satan, upon his temptation to Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ came to this earth, in order to counter the rebellion in Mankind, that Satan created at that time, in order to separate Humanity from God’s Eternal Kingdom….Jesus Christ died on the Cross, in order to reestablish that pathway, once again. It is up to us to choose, whether we want to seek or not. And even then, it is not enough to just seek, but to seek to the point that it consumes us….to the point that we violate any of God’s Divine Laws of Love that it will prick the inner peace within our own souls.
Do you only come to God, when you need something? Or do you show your interest in Him, even in the happy moments in your life? How much has God become a part of your daily life? Does it come to the point that to involve him and seeking the ways of His Eternal Kingdom have become just as routine as brushing your teeth and eating food to fuel yourself? Has He become the fuel for your soul? Has He become the “food for your soul“?
We must not only seek Him for the earthly riches and things that we want to attain and achieve, because we will only make room for Satan and his demons to take a foot hold in your life, to fractionate the truth that God puts within each soul that he created. We must seek for HIS WILL of our life, since He created that soul, since the time you were placed in your mother’s womb. God sees those who sincerely seek Him; He knows what we need from day to day to live. When we seek Him…He will provide according to His Will of our lives. When we seek His Kingdom in all aspects of our lives, we will have confidence of His Presence of our lives.
Many try to justify the existence of an Omnipresent Being, the Almighty God, by the ever so limiting Human Logic. It would be silly to think that we can justify and find reason with everything that happens within our lives. There will be circumstances that occur that is beyond the logic that we can ever fathom. It takes far more strength to believe that there is something beyond what we can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch with our human senses. It takes far more strength to believe in an Omnipresent Being that poured out Unconditional Love, in the most unconventional of ways. You see it seems that people today have become so complacent in the logic to which we can reason with. However, anyone that declares to be on a spiritual journey will not only see, but know with the innermost of their abilities, that there is something more.
To understand the fullest extent of unconditional love, would lead you to a path of understand and continuously seeking the Omnipresent God, that shows His Mercy and Unconditional Love to us, with each day we wake up….with each day we live. There are just somethings beyond our own understanding. It will bring you to an understanding that that there are things that are far more of value than the things of this world. A spiritual path will only be quenched when our soul has been fed by the unconditional love of the Supreme Being, God the Father of Creation. God touches the hearts of those who seek Him. But many believe…and want this path to be easy. However, Jesus Christ said, that the path to the Eternal Kingdom of God, is a path less travelled. A path less travelled means a path that is not followed by the majority. It is because God has said that His Ways are beyond the ways of this world. And to those of us that are called, and continuously seek, we should know that Satan and his demons will be not too far back of us, in trying to bring us down from this path. We should always be mindful, that with each step we get closer in God’s Path to the Eternal Kingdom, that evil will take one step forward in trying to grab you 10 steps back in that same path.
God never said that our paths to His Kingdom will be easy. This is what Jesus Christ showed us through His Life and Death on this earth, as His Son. If Jesus Christ Himself was not exempt, who are we to think that we will be? God is a Loving God…never mistake that. With one swipe of His Hand, He can wipe out all of the Universe. But out of His Love…His Unconditional Love, He sees that there is something worth saving in Mankind. This is why Jesus Christ had to come to die on the Cross at Calvary….to reestablished that pathway between Mankind and God, the Father of Creation, once again; to which Satan originally destroyed by tempting and Eve falling prey to that temptation. He was giving Mankind another chance. Christ Himself knew, that a life on this earth was difficult….he endured…so that He can empathize with the plight of Mankind. But also showed us through His Life Example, how to overcome and conquer Evil. The life Example that He left, is far from easy to do…however, He did show that it was possible. We just have to remain focused on God, the Father of Creation. Realize that He sees everything from His Throne…all He asks is to repent for each violation against His Divine Laws of Love.
Earthly power is nothing in comparision to Spiritual Power….this is what Jesus Christ showed us on the Cross, at Calvary. The logic that comes with spirituality, is a logic that can not solely depend on earthly logic, but a mixture of the two. God reads the innermost thoughts and hearts of Man…..Contrary to what I have heard in the past from those bound to the ways of this world, God is truly a loving God…..God brings us through various stages within our spiritual journeys. So we must understand that living a life according to the ways of God’s Divine Laws of Love, will require us to go through the Refiner’s Fire….to get undergo anguish, and to go through the wilderness…but as long as we rely on Him…we will end up in the right place.
