We must remember that no matter how far we may have roamed off of the path, once someone is called to seek the Kingdom of God, and He has revealed the Ways to His Kingdom to you, God, will always nudge the Holy Spirit to nudge you to come back. And those that have once walked in the presence of the Holy Spirit and God, the Father, will see the difference in walking towards the Kingdom, and walking away from the path to the Eternal Kingdom. I, personally, have seen this in my life. As human beings, our biggest flaws are pride and complacency. As Christians, it is so easy for us to get so comfortable in our spiritual lives, because things in our lives are going really well, without any trials or hardships. These are the times that Satan and his demons find as the most opportune times to strike against God’s Children. And remember, Satan and his demons can not do anything to you without God’s permission. These trials are brought into our lives for different reasons on each side. As we look to the Book of Job, Satan wanted to prove God wrong by saying that Job’s Faithfulness is only in his good times in his life. Job was very prosperous in the earthly sense. God allowed the test, to show His Confidence in Job’s Faithfulness, by knowing the purity of his heart.
What we must remember as servants of God, is that God is faithful to His Children, and never give up on them. He sees what no human eye sees, what no human ear hears, what no human can smell, taste and feel…he knows the purity of one’s heart and soul. At the same time, God knows the weakness of the human heart and mind. This is why He asks us to seek the Kingdom of God, through the Guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is one way that He knows He can still save a soul that has been lost to the world and its ways, because once He has called, He gives us the choice to come back, through the wooing of the Holy Spirit. It does require prayer and meditation to God the Father of Creation, and allowing your soul and heart to dwell and depend on the Presence of the Holy Spirit. This is what Jesus Christ was able to reestablish with His Death on the Cross. To create a bridge between the earthly and spiritual heavenly realms. As our Shepard, Jesus Christ, guided us and showed us what is expected in the earthly sense, by God the Father of Creation. Prayer is the biggest part of this. Even in moments of the hustle and bustle of this world, trials in the worldly sense, and even in the silence of our rooms….we are expected to go to our prayer closets, and come into the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is what Jesus Christ showed us in His Life and Death.
God gives us ample time and opportunity to come back to Him…till the very last breath in our earthly bodies. He sees the purity of the hearts that seek Him, and He lets them know that He sees their purity in their love for Him, and His Kingdom’s Ways. These people are constantly confessing to the ways that they fall short to the ways of His Kingdom. These people are devoid of pride in any way. They are also not swayed by the ways of this world. At the same time, God also does expect us to go astray, but He anticipates those that are pure in heart to come back and confess to Him. He gives us this choice everyday. He does not want people who feel entitled or does not force anyone to follow His Kingdom’s Ways, but wants those that CHOOSE to do so…and these are ways of SELFLESS, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, NONVIOLENCE, and FORGIVENESS.
For me, when I first began my walk almost 20 years ago, I thought that it would be very hard to get to this point in my spiritual life. I have been through many trials, and have witnessed many injustices….I have seen how people have seen my life and say God is not in my life because of the many trial that I have endured in the earthly sense. But I have never felt more of God’s Presence in my Life for the very same reason that people say that they feel He is not. And it is through these trials, that we break away from the ways of this World, and follow the ways to His Eternal Kingdom, which are the ways that I have listed above in CAPITAL LETTERS. We are different because of the wisdom of what God reveals to us through earthly trials, that make us stand out in this world, that make us different. God sees the transformation of the heart, that occurs in these times….the Refiner’s Fire that His Putting our human hearts through. Remember a prosperous earthly life, is not equivalent to a prosperous spiritual life If God says His Ways are not of this world, but are beyond them, that means His Ways do not conform to the ways of this world….but what He had shown us through His Son, Jesus Christ, in the earthly sense. A life that is inspired by God, the Father of Creation will have their words and actions match each other…not contrary to them.
If we look at any person that was considered devotee to the Kingdom of God, or are considered holy or are prophets….they did not have a prosperous earthly life, but many trials in their earthly life; or did not see the importance of earthly riches. God gave his strongest trials to those that He knew and saw that understood the ways of His Son, and why He died on the Cross at Calvary.
Those of us who have decided to walk the path towards the Eternal Kingdom, will know what I mean by the title of this entry. When God, the Father of Creation (Jehovah, Devum, Yahweh) has stated that His Ways are not of the world’s way but are beyond them, He truly meant that. This is what He showed us through the Life Example and Death of His Son, Jesus Christ (Yeshuay, Yeshu Christu, Yeshua). God, the Father of Creation, has called all of His Chosen Children, that are bound toward the path toward the Eternal Kingdom, to follow His Divine Laws of Love, ways of Nonviolence, Unconditional Love, and Mercy, at all costs, even to the point of an earthly death. Those that are bound to this path, know that our time on this earth is limited, in comparison to the eternity given to the souls that are deep within us, as humanity. That is what sets us apart from any of God, the Father’s creations….it is the soul that He has given us, to keep guard over. We know that there is more to life, than what we can see with our human eyes, hear with our human ears, smelling, tasting, and touching with our human nose, tongue, and our skin.
A heart that has been given the spark by God, and have truly seen and understood what Jesus Christ did on the Cross, on that day on Calvary, that spark will never die. That spark was put within such a heart because God, the Father, has seen fertile ground and a pure heart that He found worthy for the Holy Spirit to dwell within its soul. No matter how far Satan and his demons will try to throw such a heart and soul off the path towards the Eternal Kingdom, that spark will never die. Satan and his demons hate a heart and soul that hungers for God and His Divine Laws of Love. If you look at any saint, they all have had a life that was in the earthly sense considered that full of trial, devoid of earthly riches, and a soul that sticks out in the crowd. Such souls that are seek the Kingdom of God, the Father of Creation, will see that the ways of Jesus Christ, His Son, are ways that are not of this world, but are in accordance to the Divine Laws of Love, ways of the Eternal Kingdom. A Kingdom to which God has banned Satan and his demons, which is what makes such souls a target of his envy, for what he can never have again…..God’s Unconditional Love, Peace, and Joy, and to sit in the very throne room of the Most High. So if he can never have it again, none of humanity (God’s most prized creations) will ever see it or know of it.
However, that is the difference between those that are given the testimony within their hearts and souls. This testimony is what gives the human side of the heart and soul, the conviction to continue on with the supernatural path of the Eternal Kingdom of God, the Father of Creation. Despite the earthly circumstances that may surround such souls, God, continues to lead such souls that He set on Fire with the testimony that He had custom made for them, towards the Eternal Kingdom. However, just as He did for Job, and all of His Previous Saints that walked before us, God, never allows for evil to give us more than what we can handle. God, knows and trusts His Children such trials in order to refine their souls in the fires of the furnace, to the perfect diamonds that He created for them to be; to cut them off from the ways of this world, a world to which He states that His Ways are not a part of.
So through the trials, keep up the good fight. God sees it all, and will count every tear that is shed. He will count every drop of blood of His Innocent. He will count every sorrow, and see who caused them to you, on behalf of Satan and his demons, and will account for them on your behalf one day. Have faith that God, the Father loves you, just as Jesus Christ, His Son, showed us on that day on Calvary, on the Cross.
“If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the soundwords of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, andwe cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.”
-1 Timothy 6:2-10 (ESV)
Many have corrected it to emphasize “The LOVE of money”. Here is the truth behind this. With this wording, we tend to restrict the meaning of this verse to GREED. But it does not stop there. It is the LOVE of the SELF, to obtain earthly riches. There are many life circumstances that have led to evil things, and for sins to be committed. I sincerely believe if money or any earthly riches, are the focus of an act or a goal of a plan, that is a coveting or love of money, or earthly riches.
We have to remember a few things that God has said:
1. God says His Ways are not of the world’s ways, but beyond them.
2. He provides SUFFICIENTLY for our needs. If He provides for the birds in the sky; and for the lilies in the valley, would He not provide for us, as Man?
3. In all we do, we must keep God’s Commandments in mind, as to how we conduct ourselves.
4. As Jesus Christ demonstrated through His Own Life, Teachings, Death, and Resurrection, that we must uphold God’s Laws of Divine Love, at all costs.
In society today, we see a great divide in wealth. AGREED. So let us study this for a moment.
There are people who have gained their wealth through unjust means. Mahatma Gandhi said it best in the following:
When a way of life is focused on the self, where is there an honest love for humanity? God calls us to treat others, the way we want to be treated. To love each other, unconditionally; just as Jesus Christ demonstrated on the Cross, at Calvary. Yet, we see this divide. Why? Would a one time charitable donation, help a child to be provided with the same opportunities that a privileged child will have? Would it help to put food on their table, past one meal? To buy more than one pair of clothes, for their backs? Will it help to heal a broken spirit or heart? No…no…no. For there is only a certain amount of “money” that is needed to live. Yet we have people who strive for extreme wealth, for what reason? To put food on their table? Our stomachs can only take so much food. To put clothes on their backs? We only have 2 hands, to legs, one head, one body to clothe. For a roof over our heads? We only need one to protect us from getting wet in the rain; to keep us warm in the cold; to protect us from the heat. But yet, we see that those who belong here, decide to shield themselves from the poverty in the world. To do their work from a distance, with money; and with no investment of the heart. Power is not in money. God says, His Ways are not of the world; but beyond them. Jesus Christ, as His Son, was the ultimate symbol of unconditional love, through His Salvation of Mankind, through His Selfless Act of dying on the Cross, at Calvary. Though being the Son of God, having the power in one swipe of His Hand to take away all; having every right to pass judgement…did not do so. Instead He chose to walk in our shoes, out of God’s Love and Understanding for us; and to give up His Life to help us conquer what is trying to destroy us. He took on our battle, and won it for us. MONEY is not love. Money is EARTHLY POWER. Jesus Christ did not chose to do His Work, with Earthly Power; but His Life, Death, and Resurrection, showed us Divine Power. Our love for God, should be the dictator in our lives. And God calls for us to live with the earthly circumstances He has given us, to help each other, to understand His Unconditional Love for all. God sees us all equally in His Eyes. Giving us every opportunity to open our eyes to this fact; until when He finally calls for Judgement to be passed, by the One, who earned that Right in His Eyes, for upholding His Will at all earthly costs…Jesus Christ.
Then we have the other extreme. Where there is a lot of poverty in the world. And the poverished see those who have the extreme wealth; and seeing their pleasures, and lack of struggle. They see their temporary moments of happiness, and their false sense of security. And they strive for this false sense of security; at any cost. Thinking that once they achieve it, then they will be able to be at peace. Many who have reached that, have found quite the contrary. Only God, can give us that peace of mind. Only Divinity can give you security. Though they did not “love money”; their main focus and primary goal for their actions was for obtaining money.
Through poverty, and wanting to get out of that poverty, many do things out of desperation. However, with our freewill we have the choice to choose, whether to honor God the Father of Creation, and trust in Him, in providing the way out. And there are some who do. However, there are also those who obtain it by breaking His Commandments. How many people have killed for their wealth? How many people have stolen to obtain wealth? How many people have sold their bodies for wealth? How many people have cheated another, for their wealth? How many have taken advantage of someone’s desperation, to obtain their wealth? Or how many people have taken advantage of someone else’s honesty for obtaining their personal wealth? How many remain in relationships, and commit adultery (out of their unhappiness or lack of satisfaction in their partner) for the sake of financial security and stability?
When we take on such attitudes, are these selfless acts? Is there not harm committed to another member of our fellow man? Who are we to decide who deserves such unjust actions to be done towards them or not, to obtain such wealth? Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, while He roamed this Earth, did not do that Himself. So with our sin stained, vulnerable human nature, who are we to determine this? Based on this vulnerability look at what Mankind has chosen with their freewill to exist? It is not God, that is allowing for it to happen. He is giving us the choice for it to exist, or to not exist. He has provided not only the foundation, but also showed us through the earthly example of His Son, Jesus Christ, what is to be expected. Yet we still continue to choose with our freewill otherwise. So when will it stop? God had to reset Mankind so many times. He has shown, those who chose His Ways are the ones, who can stop it permanently. That is the only way. Our sin vulnerable human nature, does not allow for us to do it by our own strength, without Him. This is what World History has consistently demonstrated. Man is not capable on its own to do that; but only with the aid of God, the Father of Creation. Otherwise would we CHOOSE to take such routes in gaining wealth? Would we choose to have goals of obtaining wealth, instead of doing what is right in this world? The Love of Money. Evil created such extremes so that our EMOTIONS, our FIRST INSTINCTS will dominate. To not think, and use our freewill, to choose the ways of God, the Father of Creation. Freewill is what differentiates us from the animals in the wild. Yet, evil is trying to make us to take on the ways of the animals in the wild. God made animals to exist in that way, not Man. To gain, based on “survival of the fittest”. Man was given freewill, to choose a way of life of love and righteousness. We are not to become secure by the expense of our fellow Man. We are not to enjoy, at the expense of another. We are to love, selflessly, just as Jesus Christ showed us at the Cross.
Actions can be forgiven in the Eyes of God. But often wealth gained by unjust means, have to often be maintained through unjust means. And leaves a heart and soul heavy laden with burden, placed by Evil. Unless one decides to unshackle themselves from this unjustly gained wealth, it will be forever shackled to evil. If we have truly understood that God’s Ways of Divinity are not of the world’s but beyond them, then we would take Jesus Christ’s Example, and continue to conduct ourselves in accordance to God’s Commandments. We will begin to understand that the things of this world are temporary. And that things that God gives, to His Faithful, are permanent. True freedom is not in “living for the moment”, in earthly circumstances. But by knowing that the God you honor with your life, has ways that are beyond that of the world. Mother Teresa says it best here:
I was having a conversation with one of my mentors last night, and we both came to the conclusion, and understanding that there is a growing need to understand one of the requirements of obtaining entrance into a life of eternity. Many people believe that it is good enough to be “just a good person.” NOT TRUE. Others believe it is enough to just have faith alone, in that it is enough to believe in the existence of God. NOT TRUE. God says it is the balance of both that is needed.
For those that believe that it is good enough to be a “good person”. What defines being a “good person”? Isn’t such a definition subjective, rather than being objective? What one person may define as a “good person”, may be different from what another person may define it as, right? Many say, “helping people”. Well, how do you define that to fit to a definition to being a “good person”? Isn’t it possible for people to just do good deeds without truly loving or caring for the person? So it becomes an empty self serving act of charity. If we serve for (as in this day and age it is termed) “a cause”, for what reason are we supporting it for? Is it for genuinely finding a cure and understanding out of the love for Mankind? Or is it for a personal intention? Ambiguity, confusion…are tools that are not of Divinity. Divinity is quite clear…objective are It’s Definitions. When we use the subjective nature of flawed human logic, we will move further and further away from Divinity. Human logic is bound by earthly parameters, especially if it is devoid of faith, and following the instinct of sinful human nature. These are SELFISH acts of love. Divinity asks us to be SELFLESS in our acts of charity and love, towards each other.
For those who believe only faith is enough, those who believe in ASSURED salvation. Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, do our battles with evil end here? NO. In fact, upon accepting Jesus Christ’s Authority in our life, we must be fully aware that Evil will throw trials and challenges in our lives, in order for us to refine our faith in God, and to grow stronger in our faith. It also serves to further detach ourselves to the ways of this world, to which God makes very clear, that His Ways are not a part of. This includes temptations to sin like lust, greed, gluttony, sloth, envy, wrath, and pride. One good point that my mentor had pointed out during our conversation, is that each time Jesus Christ laid hands on those He performed miracles on, He said, “Turn away from your sin, and do not sin again.” Very true, we become new…born again, in mind, body, and soul, when we make Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We stand by what He guides as our Good Shepard, through paths that are right and just. The Holy Spirit gently nudges us to ways that are right and wrong, in the Eyes of God’s Eternal Kingdom. If we continue to sin, faith is not enough. We have to believe in that faith with our entire whole being, enough to turn away from our sinful human nature, and surrender to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise you resoil the soul that you made anew upon accepting the authority of God, in your life. You can not live in sin, and challenge that salvation. Have you truly learned and become born again in spirit, if you still live in that rebellion? A born again spirit, will know of God’s Inifinite Wisdom; inequity is purged, and a hate for what is evil. There is no freedom when there is no fear of hurting, or disappointing God. That shows that there is no deep respect, as we would show our earthly parents. When God says He says He is beyond the world’s ways, who are we to challenge this? As Creations, who are we to challenge the Creator?
God judges on the intentions behind each action, because He sees all of it. Whether we believe in Him or not…that is the truth. The proof of His Existence is seen in the innocence and purity of little children. We were all once that pure and innocent. Do children think about the good deeds that they do? No. All they know is that is the right thing to do. God’s Acceptance into His Kingdom, is not defined in accordance to the earthly realm. He sees beyond what we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch on this earthly realm. What kind of freedom is it, if we restrict ourselves to a belief that abides by the restrictions, boundaries, and limitations of this earthly realm. God, the Father of Creation, is beyond them. Our actions have to coincide with our faith. We have to have that conviction of wanting to know what is right and wrong, in this world, by seeking a Divine Force to lead you. At the same time, “faith without action” is also not fruitful. We should establish ourselves in a way that is inline with what Divinity had originally created for us to be; not to redefine it, without Divinity.
Though knowing that there is this OPTION in knowing that there is a path to Divinity’s Guidance into the Eternal Kingdom, there seems to be a premeditated rejection of knowing the Truth about Faith, in the world today. Many are much more swift to point a finger at another neighbor, or even at God; before reexamining themselves. We put our convictions and passions on things that have subjective meanings. We should do our good deeds, not based on obtaining any personal gain, in any shape or form. But in honor of the love of the Father of Creation, and out of that love, in the fear of disappointing Him. It is not by the number of good deeds, that determine our goodness. It is by the love sensed and invested into another, by each act that accounts for this. And only God, can see this.
For in Titus 2:11-15:
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.”
